{Divine Design} Disney Crafts!

This is a very special week on Ally Jean because I’m blogging from the most magical place on earth: Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida–my home away from home!

That means this week’s posts will all have to do with a certain Mouse and will definitely all include little tips and tricks to a successful Disney trip, from favorite Park Food, Cast Member tips to survive Disney in the Summer, and sweet Disney inspired crafts, parties, and social media etiquette lessons.

Are you ready for a magical week? Me too! Let’s get started!
This week’s Divine Design is all about five DIY Disney crafts that will be perfect to do for an upcoming trip to Disney World or for some summer fun around the house.

This sweet countdown calendar is so easy (and cheap!) to make and would be such wonderful way to get your kids excited about your Disney Vacation.
Each colorful Mickey head (paint samples from a local hardware store) has a different daily task for the whole family to enjoy.
The tips Bri gives you for each of the days are perfect for a visit to Disneyland in California, but if you’re headed to Florida, you might want to include some of the following things: Learn about the Countries in the EPCOT World Showcase (And maybe make a passport for your kids to get stamped as they travel the world!), or Listen to Disney music in the car (Especially When you Wish Upon a Star!)
This is one I’m aching to do myself for my Disney friends as Christmas Gifts! The craft is so easy, it can be personalized any way you want.
The little rolled Mickey head and ears were made out of an old tshirt, rolled up to be three rosettes and hot-glued onto a headband or gator clip!

3.) Souvenir Park Map Bracelet by Mousetales Travel

I love collecting Disney Park maps when I go to visit, but I hate bringing them home! They just accumulate in a scrap book and I can’t seem to find anything to do with them.

I LOVE this idea of cutting the maps into small strips and mod podging them onto a smile bangle bracelet!

Would be so cute for a day at the parks!

4.) Disney Printables by A Girl & A Glue Gun

I LOVE these Disney printables (Especially this Mary Poppins one!) When I worked at Disney, I got to watch the nighttime castle show, The Magic The Memories and You, every night and there is one part of the show where Mary Poppins says:

“In every job that must be done, there is an element of fun!”

(Watch the show here, it’s BREATHTAKING! I just watched it again and burst into tears–seriously invest in seeing this when you visit Disney!)

So when I stumbled upon this adorable print on Pinterest I filed it away to hang in Baby Pippin’s room (or my kitchen) when we move to our new place.

5.) Princess Kate Paper Dolls by Disney Family

I should mention that I LOVE Kate Middleton. I think she is a goddess and I will share that love with my daughter if I am blessed with a little girl.

These printables were created by Disney fro the royal wedding but I think they are just too cute not to share. Here you can dress Princess Kate up in your favorite Disney Princess’ dress, or her signature wedding gown (complete with sapphire engagement ring!)

Your little princess would LOVE to play with these on an airplane or long car ride!
