I tried taking them later at night, early in the morning, everything. No dice, I always lost my lunch/breakfast/dinner.
Enter these yummy gummies. They have never made me sick and are made of natural materials. Plus they taste delicious! (Just don’t leave them in the back of the truck when you’re moving from Florida to Indiana in the middle of July…)
3.) DDF Pedi-Cream
Trust me when I say that this cream is the best for cracking feet. I work 8 hours a day, on my feet the whole time, and combined with all the extra baby weight I’m carrying around, when I get home my feet are killing me.
This is seriously my go-to lotion when Justin volunteers to rub my aching feet. It keeps them feeling soft and smooth.
4.) Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula for Stretchmarks
This one is kind of a given and a little bottle can go a long way.
I rub my belly down with this stuff every morning after a shower and I still have yet to see any stretchmarks creep across my belly (and I don’t plan on giving up on that streak any time soon!)
Plus this stuff smells amazing and helps keep dry skin everywhere else feeling great!
That being said, start early with this stuff and use it EVERYWHERE. Early on I paid special attention to my belly, ignoring my hips, thighs and breasts…. where I did get stretchmarks. Use it everywhere!
5.) Mederma Stretch Marks Therapy
When you do see those wonderful stretchmarks start to creep up on your growing body, invest in a bottle of this to save for after baby is born.
I ran a test trial on some marks on my legs and they were minimized from gross purple lines to tiny little unnoticeable marks. Amazing.
6.) EOS Lip Balm
Made with all organic materials, cute and compact, and delightfully smooth: this lip balm was an instant favorite for me.
I loved the watermelon scent and how silky soft it keeps my lips! Hormones, labor and delivery can make your lips terribly dry, so a great lip balm is a must for every Momma!
7.) Sonia Kashuk Radient Tinted Moisturizer
It doesn’t matter when you conceive, you will be pregnant during the Summer, you will have something to go to where you’ll want to look fabulous, and your body will be telling you it’s 1000 degrees causing you to sweat so much all your makeup will run off your face and around your collar.
Speaking from experience, I promise.
Enter the answer to your prayers, this amazing Moisturizer. It’s an SPF 15 lotion and foundation that is remarkably light and smooth and stays put! You can wear less makeup and still look great.
I keep this with me in my purse for when I need a little touch-up later in the day. It’s perfect!
8.) Tucks Medicated Cooling Pads
Without getting too TMI let me just say my peace about these Must-Haves.
Mommas, when it hurts to go number two, these little babies will make you MUCH more comfortable. You can either wipe and toss for quick care, or fold and place for longer relief.
It’s that easy. Keep them in your purse, in your office drawer, or by the commode in your home.
9.) Neutrogena Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes
Again with the hormones. Your acne will come back with a vengeance. That’s why it’s incredibly important to wash your face every morning and night.
These wipes are perfect when that pregnancy exhaustion kicks in and you can’t be bothered with too many steps between you and your bed. One wipe all over your face with these wipes and all your make up will be gone–making it harder for sneaky acne to appear while you sleep!
10.) Bath & Body Works Glowing Body Scrub
Pregnancy is 9 months of sensitive, itchy, dry skin. As important as it is to moisturize those dry patches, you also have to make sure to exfoliate!
This glowing body scrub by Bath & Body Works smells amazing and works great. I use it just before I soap and shave.
11.) Summer’s Eve Cleansing Cloths
Another must have for your purse, trust me.
Again, without getting too TMI during pregnancy, everything is ultra sensitive. Regardless of showers, glasses of cranberry juice, and pushing fluids, you will encounter a time when you will feel not-so-fresh… down there.
I keep a pack of these in my purse. They’re perfect for the summer or being stuck in those gross work pants all day.
So there you have it, 11 health & beauty must haves for any Momma-to-Be! Put them on your shopping list the next time you’re out for ice cream at 2am
