Wedding Wednesday: Maleficent “Once Upon a Rebel” Wedding

Happy Wedding Wednesday, everyone!

I stumbled across this amazing wedding on the Huffington Post last week and was stopped dead in my tracks. I wish I was brave enough to wear a colored dress to my own wedding, I can’t keep my eyes off this unbelievable black dress in this gorgeous shoot.

This week’s dose of wedding love was styled by Rebellious Brides and is inspired by the Angelia Jolie portrayal of Maleficent, the iconic villain from Disney’s “Sleeping Beauty”.

I love the watercolor invitations, with the painted map of the forest. Watercolor invites seem to be a trend I can get behind. (Remember how I swooned at last week’s water color invites too!)

I love the floral arrangements. Bouquets and boutonnieres are beautiful combinations of forest textures – thistles and wildflowers – elegant, soft florals – roses, babies breath – and exotic blooms, like stunning black calla lilies.
