Whenever I think of New Year’s Eve, I think of all things shiny and sparkly. So when I began throwing together our family’s fun for the evening, I was so excited to stumble upon this great post on Pizzazzerie with delightfully quick and easy tips for throwing a pink metallic NYE Bash.
I love all things metallic – they have a subtle shine and a festive touch. Enjoy these ideas for adding a metallic look to your New Year’s Eve bash! Don’t worry, it doesn’t have to break the bank. Visit your local dollar store or party store to find inexpensive star decorations. Hang them from light fixtures or scatter across your tabletop.
Get in touch with your crafty side by making sequined stir sticks for champagne cocktails. Here is a little DIY How-To for making these fun stir sticks. No matter what cocktail you serve (we vote for something sparkling), they will be a festive touch. Not feeling crafty? Simple rock candy swizzle sticks are a sweet addition to any glass of bubbly. Trying to keep clean-up to a minimum? Pick up mini bottles of champagne (check your local liquor store) and serve with pink striped straws.
