On September 24, my sweet Parkie turned 2.
Her party was a “La La Land”-inspired celebration, her very own City of Stars.
The party started with the custom designed invitations from Basic Invite, inspired by the iconic scene in Griffith Planetarium from the film. I had an amazing experience designing these invites, and you can read about it here.
Transforming our kitchen into a city of stars took a lot of glitter and confetti.
Guests enjoyed a dessert bar with jazzy cupcakes, cotton candy, popcorn and deconstructed s’mores.
To keep with the Hollywood glamor, there was a mimosa bar for the adults and a variety of juices for our littler guests.
Appetizers included my signature stuffed jalapenos, baked brie, and chicken on a stick (named after Seb’s dream jazz club).
My little had a “lovely night” celebrating her birthday.
