Something very exciting is happening this summer! My sister, Jenny, is having a baby and I am welcoming my first official nephew.

This being Jenny’s first baby, my mom and I wanted to make sure that the new momma-to-be felt celebrated and showered with love, but with me living in Florida, my Mom temporarily in Houston, and my sister living in Northern Indiana, planning a full-scale baby shower was proving to be a difficult challenge.
JeI started looking around for brunch places in Chicago that would have a private dining space and take care of all the heavy lifting for me.
I did a lot of researching (okay, Googling) on the best brunch places in Chicago and The Hampton Social kept popping up. I immediately fell in love with their nautical decor and mouth-watering menu, and working with their private event team was nothing short of spectacular.
The brunch menu included the option of a family-style appetizer and a choice of three entrées. We also added some small bite desserts, a premium bar package and some fresh veggies and cheese for guests to nibble on before brunch.
These were the Ahi-Tuna Deviled Eggs.
I was also a huge fan of our signature cocktail Lavender Dream: Hangar One Vodka, Lavender Lemonade Deliciousness
I scrambled and stressed over decorations for WEEKS only to arrive at the space to see it ABSOLUTELY PERFECT undecorated – the charm of this restaurant was bursting from its seams.
The best part of the experience with The Hampton Social was the staff. I arrived to the party late and my anxiety-riddled self was sweating profusely. I was immediately greeted by the staff who calmed me down and had a drink in my hand before I could blink. Every ask was met with kindness and an “Of course!” and I cannot stress enough how perfect the experience was.
HUGE thank you to The Hampton Social – if you’re in the Chicagoland area, you should totally visit them. I’m so thrilled the day was as perfect as it was and that I got to spend such precious time with my sister and bro-in-law before their little bundle arrives.
